About Us
The mission of White Horse Forestry is to sustain a high level of professionalism and safety within the Wildland Fire community by providing knowledgeable, well trained and highly motivated firefighters.
Who We Are
White Horse Forestry is owned and operated by Ron and AnnaMarie White, located in Mineral County and just 40 minutes west of Missoula, Montana. We are a full service forestry management company with a long history of logging and hazardous fuels reduction. Since 2005 White Horse Forestry has maintained Wildland Fire suppression agreements that include Type-6 Engines, Type 1 Faller Modules and 20 Person Firefighting Handcrews. In addition to fire suppression, we have provided Wilderness Trails Maintenance to the Forest Service. We have consistently received excellent performance evaluations for all of our Fire contracts. White Horse Forestry has maintained a Memorandum of Understanding with the Northern Rockies Coordinating Group to provide NWCG courses in Region 1 since 2010.
